The Audevards | West Chester

Fall West Chester lifestyle session with The Audevards. Backyard dance parties highly encouraged.

This past Fall I met up with my friend Meg and her beautiful family for a West Chester lifestyle family photoshoot. Meg and I had previously been chatting about the tiny, adorable, monsters that run our lives; our children. She has 4 year old twin girls and a 2 and a half year old little boy. Being a new first time mom, I firmly believe the word “rockstar” accurately describes her. I can barely handle my one, and she started this journey by raising two, right off the bat, and then threw another into the mix! Yup, total rockstar.

Meg was describing to me how fleeting the early days are. As a tired momma, some of your memories fade, mostly from the intense exhaustion. Knowing this, the importance of documenting them as they grow becomes evident. It’s a way to make sure that when some of those memories begin to slip, you have a reminder of just how adorable, sweet, bad, or a total nightmare they were. Insert whatever adjective suits your situation. 😉 After all, It’s not just the good times that deserve documentation. Life isn’t perfect.

With this in mind, we set up a shoot so Meg and her family could look back on a day in the life of two four year old twin girls and their two year old brother.

And so I spent an afternoon with Meg and her family in their back yard enjoying the simple pleasures in life: homemade sweets, dance parties, and bubbles. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday.
