Liz & Rob | Valley Forge
Liz and Rob traveled from New Jersey to meet us at Valley Forge National Historical Park. A gorgeous walk off the trails most traveled, through fields and tall grass, led us to the most magical sky we’ve ever seen.
A decade in Philadelphia and strangely we’d never stepped foot into Valley Forge National Historical Park. When Liz and Rob suggested it for their engagement session, we were elated to explore a new space. The drive was short and blissful. To go from large city buildings to big colorful trees was a treat. The park is gorgeous, vast, and ready for a new adventure at each turn. Its quickly become one of our favorite spots and we can’t wait to go back and do a bit more hiking/exploring/photographing. The possibilities feel endless.
Liz and Rob found us through their upcoming wedding venue; the Little Red Schoolhouse in Mickelton, NJ. It only took about 5 minutes of chatting before I knew they’d be in our photo family. Their love story is incredible, hilarious, kind, and sweet. They, as people, are also all of those things. Our engagement photography sessions are always a way for us to get to learn our couples more. It helps deepen the relationship and trust between all parties. It only took a few minutes for these love birds to warm right up. The rest of the day was just walking, talking, laughing, and cuddling. <3
Valley Forge was the perfect choice for their engagement photos. It was the best place to begin our photo journey together. If the structures, beautiful fields, old houses, and Fall colors weren’t enough to make the day extraordinary, we had the most magical sunset clouds we’ve ever encountered.
We are so happy to have Liz and Rob part of our little photo family. We can’t wait to see these two tie the knot this upcoming May!
And then the sun came out… and gave us that SKY! <3
