Kristine & Adam | Halloween in Philadelphia
Halloween Engagement Inspiration; Our adventures with Kristine and Adam at Eastern State Penitentiary and Laurel Hill Cemetery.
When Kristine and Adam decided that we were the ones who could perfectly capture their love, we were beyond honored. Immediately, we began brainstorming locations for their Halloween engagement session. Betrothed on the previous holiday date and preparing to be married the following one, we had to get this inspiration right.
Philadelphia has a timeless, haunted, aura around it’s oldest landmarks. The Eastern State Penitentiary has to be one of the most perfect spots to conjure this feeling. So, it was there we began. We felt so lucky to witness their love through these halls. It’s in their smiles, their laughter, and the way they look at one another. You’d swear their souls have found one another time and time again. These two have a way to summon pure magic whenever they are together. We even sought ghosts, which was blissfully received.
Our second location was the ever beautiful, humbling, and historic Laurel Hill Cemetery. Laurel Hill is a cemetery in Philadelphia’s East Falls neighorhood. It was founded in 1836 and in 1998, it was named a National Historic Landmark. Very few cemeteries have received this honor. It seemed only natural to adventure through marble and granite sculpture honoring life, love, death, and family with these two. It was symbolic, emotional, and beyond memorable.
Thanks for conjuring that fox we hoped for, guys. 😉

We’re very much looking forward to sharing their Haunted Halloween Wedding on the blog soon.
