Jackie & Matt | Catskill Mountains

Backyard wedding in the Catskills Mountains.

There’s nothing quite like a wedding in the mountains…

Except maybe having it in the Fall, in your own backyard, amongst the flowers you grew yourself, with a view to fawn over, and your favorite people all around you.

We knew that a Catskill Mountains Wedding was going to be one for the books. However, there was no way we could’ve imagined how incredibly gorgeous, special, and intimate this one would be.

The entire day took place at our couple’s house and surrounding (stunning) property. They utilized multiple spaces to create a unique and visually inspiring atmosphere for every event. Their home is where they got ready. We went on a mini adventure and through their wildflower garden for portraits. Their ceremony site was perfection with a view that made our jaws drop. Dinner was at the top most part of their property; decorated with vintage glassware, flowers picked from the garden, and a surprise neon sign (a gift from Jackie to Matty). The part was under a tent just at the bottom of the hill. Accommodations for the evening was (optional) camping. I could go on and on but you’ll see in the photos.

More than the brilliance and uniqueness of this mountain wedding is how CLEARLY loved Jackie and Matty are. Their family and friends were beyond supportive, kind, loving, and fun. The speeches left us teary eyed and falling over in laughter. The dinner had us drooling (made by Matty’s friends). You couldn’t wipe the smiles off of our faces while we all danced. This was a really REALLY special one.

We left this wedding on a cloud, asking ourselves how to be best friends with everyone we just met.

There are Catskill Mountains Weddings and then there’s THIS one… forever etched in our memory as above and beyond epic.
